This nine-month, specialized training program is designed to help you advise employers or clients on strategies and tools for implementing sustainable building.
This course will enable you to identify and articulate the key practices of sustainable building in residential and commercial markets.
- Apply LEED™ and other relevant criteria or established guidelines.
- Analyze the costs and benefits of sustainable building measures.
- Work with architects, designers, builders, operators, and utilities to improve a building’s performance.
- Take advantage of financial incentives and technical assistance offered by governments, utilities and non-profits.
- Establish sustainable design goals for project development.
- Assist in sustainable building education and training of your facility or firm’s staff.
- Earn CE credits for LEED CMP and 100 learning units for AIA
Eco Edge is the local Provider for the program in Idaho, and the lead instructor is Sharon Patterson. Each individual course is taught by local and regional experts.
